Final Build

Looks like a pretty good build... gskill ram is cheap

Id scratch the OCZ Fatal1ty 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply only because I have had 2 of those crap out on me... my Corsair has been holding on tho

i would do the xfx one but the seasonic is good too, that antec one has a good number of DOA's so i don't really trust it too much.

also i would consider a 2gb hd 6950 for the money.

needs some work.

No motherboard or CPU listed. You will be fine with your original 2500k and Z68 motherboard from post 1.

Get a SATA 3 SSD. They are a lot faster. No need to hold yourself back with SATA 2.

How much extra would the SATA 3 SSD cost? I have a budget of ~$1200.
Oops, I forgot to include it in there, but the CPU from the first build will be good since that is what I want. :P (However, I will buy the CPU from my local Microcenter for $40 off.)

As for the MOBO, I was gonna buy from Microcenter too, but some of them aren't on Newegg.

can you post what's currently in your cart? the mobo on the original post is deactivated so i don't know if that's all correct

Weird, I asked Tom's hardware and they said this was a good build lol.

EDIT: The MOBO isn't a link to the MOBO.

they just looked at each part and said fine, i looked for cheaper and/or better parts. the parts you posted were good, these are just better/cheaper.

you can always post this there and see what they say.
