How's it look? I already have a case from an eMachine, a Hard Drive, a DVD drive, and various cables.

Will I need thermal paste? Or does the fan that comes with CPU have it pre-applied?

Ah! Thanks for notifying me of that... I didn't realize it came with one. You can probably tell I've never bought a CPU. Think the Case fan is necessary?

Probably, I prefer to stick with a name like Rosewill though. just for my own info, what would anyone need more than 400 Watts for... I'm kinda noobish when it comes to hardware. How much would I need to run a Phenom?

There's all these little costs and I'd rather skip anything that isn't necessary. Question: Should I get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231144 RAM instead of the RAM listed (it's faster.)

no that would be a bad idea, only am2 + proccers support 1066 ram if you buy that ram it will be uncompatable, stay with the 800 mhz ram and you can find a good 4 gigs of ram for the forty dollors your spending on the 2 gigs youve chosen

Ah! I think I'll go with the 2GB of 800 RAM I was planning on (I don't need four gigs)... I didn't know the CPU limited that. Thanks!
