Is it worth getting Warranty Plans???

I want to thank all of you for the help you have provided me in setting up my computer and now that the 9550 has dropped to the price of the 9450 I am going to buy it and build it. If you all could just check over what I have and tell me it all good to go and that they will all work together I will go ahead and buy them.
Once again thank you all. I'll stick around and help as much as possible.

Rather stick with DDR2-800 with a cas latency of 4.

I wouldn't, that ram will leave for more overclocking room in the future.

Either way, you won't notice any "real" difference.

Personaly, I dont go for warrentys, waste of money IMO.

But if you feel more comfortable with it, then sure go for it

What type of warranty plan? the component manufactures have their own warranty's..

I don't think im going to either as I usually don't and since they all have good reviews other than DOA which you can return within 30 days nothing else has seemed to go wrong

being that your getting the retail intel processor your going to have 3 year warrenty
edit: since you are getting retail in most things they will have retail, so i wouldn't get it

usually the product dies after the warrenty =P I don't buy warrenty I just use the one that comes with the item, if any.
