After much thinking and adjusting, I have my most recent version of a computer I'm going to build. (My budget is $1450ish, mostly for games/schoolwork, i don't video/audio edit and i don't plan to oc) This is my first build, but my dad works with computers and knows how to put it together

How can I improve it? Any suggestions would be welcome and thanked.

sataII is the same as sata300, now when u just compare 300 to 150 in terms of speed then you would go 300, im saying this so evry1 can easily understand it so no1 yell at me

and for the monitor, the response time is better and the contrast it better

get a sataII hdd, they're worth it
They are?

DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 is a good mobo and i think is gust as good as an asus
ASUS is a company ... and they dont make the best K8/K9 boards ... in fact, they arent so great period (with the exception of thei SLI Premium Delxue model... but for that price .. you can get better still)

SATA II allows for faster transfers than sata150
The same way PCIE allows for faster transfers than AGP ....
