I went to a computer store and this is what I was told would be my best options in my price range.
He also said the i7 950 will be 300.00 in a month, and that it is much better then the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHZ 6x512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor

Just need to know if this will make for sweet gaming rig in my price range

do you really need 1 TB hard drive... For gaming look at going with a smaller but faster HD with 15000 RPM with a quick seek time also have you looked into SSD?

Yeah 1tb isnt necassary and I have an SSD in my cart its the OCSZ for 169.00 what Hard drive would you recommend? Never built a PC before. Not a clue what it all means lol I also added a fermi video card.

Well.. I am not the worlds greatest on these but for a gaming rig I know that you need to look for a faster spinning drive... even a 10,000 RPM drive is noticable compared to a 7200 RPM and the 15000 RPM drive is even better yet. I am not sure though how much faster an SSD is vs the Hard drive but I believe its alot better. I think you would be better off to just use an SSD or a 15000 RPM drive for the OS and the gaming... then use the hard drive for storing things - but if you do that rather than having the hard drive always on get a USB hard drive and plug it in when you need it otherwise just keep it on the SSD or the 15000 small HD .. also if you go for a HD make sure its not a GREEN drive they are slower because they use less energy
