i would suggest a little nice processor, i mean paying the same for a processor as for ram doesn't seem very logical.

if budget is a concern, just get a 2gb package for like 25 bucks insteadd of 70 and put that toward a nicer processor.

You might want to consider AMD for this build. AMD tends to be a better choice for budget builds, IMO.

Also, DO NOT run this system off of a power supply that was provided with a $60 case, that's an EXTREMELY bad idea.

case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147106 $40
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182021 $40
motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135074 $45
cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103211 $60

I would highly consider that build over an Intel build for this budget. This AMD build is actually cheaper but much better bang for your buck component wise.

Intel cpus overclock much better than the amd counterparts and run cooler...

He never mentioned one thing about overclocking, thus my interpretation is that he does not want to.

That is correct, I do nto Overclock, nor do I attend to until I know hwo to Overclock. For now I will just use what the motherboard and Processor gives me.

Which going AMD is the best choice for. The AMD chips run cool anyway, temperature doesn't matter unless your oc'ing. If you ever decide to (i doubt you will anytime soon) just buy an aftermarket HSF to cool it better. I think you'll REALLY like the performance you get though with the rig I quoted.

I probably will! Thanks again!
