If you haven't heard, I heard back from Newegg this afternoon with my gift certificate information (tested and works :)). So, I'm hoping that the 4870 X2 is coming out tomorrow so I can pick it up, anyways, this is what I put together.

Toshiba X205-SLi4 Laptop (2.1GHz T8100 / 3GB RAM / 320GB 7200RPM HD / Dual 8600M GT's in SLI) ($1,600)

Q9550 2.83GHz
Asus Rampage Formula X48
ATI 4870 X2 (or dual 4870's)
Creative SB X-Fi Titanium
750GB SATAII HD w/32MB Cache

Canon VIXIA HF100 HD Camcorder
($650)
Canon 70-300mm IS f/4-5.6 Lens ($550)

Lots of other goodies (new cases for everything, new server parts, upgrading home network to gigabit + 802.11n, some games, etc).

Total comes to around $4,750. Any final comments before I order tomorrow?

Well first of all you are the luckiest man alive. And I guess the computer gods are rewarding you for all the help you've given on this forum :D. I can't wait to see some of your benchmarks with the crossfire 4870's, or the 4870 x2. Once again CONGRATS!

Are you planning on water cooling?

First off I'm still deciding on a laptop, I may not get one now since I really don't need it until school starts, and maybe by then something will go on sale.

Anyways, I was originally going to go with watercooling, but I would really need to get a better case like the Antec 1200, and then the watercooling setup which together would run me about $400, and IMO that $400 could be spent better on other stuff.

True, you're probably fine on air cooling anyway.

I spent about $350 in watercooling parts for my Q6600 rig (which ThatGuy has now :P), I was able to overclock to 3.85GHz. On air I could hit 3.6GHz max, so IMO it's not worth the price, but it does look cool!

It won't be that bad anyway. :)

Looks great. Can't wait to see all pics. :D
hehe, hopefully :P

I'm ordering the bulk of the components today, but of course the 4870 X2 isn't out yet. :(

So I guess i'll have this sweet setup with only a 3870 for a while, lol.
