I've got the audio from the homemade dvd I made, and i was able to burn a disk two ways, one avi, and one mp3. They both play on my newer DVD/VCR machine, and on my computer, but will not play on my older CD players.

What do I need to do to create a CD to play on simple CD Players?

have to recode to maybe wav or cda files. that will work like in a car.
convert 2 or 3 songs to wav. try that.

you can't play or burn to dvd im sure ya know for cd player.

Got CD's

i've got plenty of CD's, and problem is my car and truck are from the 90's, and have simple CD players inn then.

What format is simple CD to work in older CD players, if necessary, how do I convert newer music to older formats?

I'm retired and have lots of old stuff, as long as it works, I don't replace it.
