oblivion has the best ending. of course, i dont have my life back yet because IT LETS YOU KEEP PLAYING! anyways, awesome ending and it was definitely worth figuring it all out myself rather than going to an online walkthrough.

anyone else who plays it... discuss here! its my new favorite game..
 
finished it a while back, good ending with some impressive cinematography...theres a lot more to do than just the game though...tons of side games to complete.

Gave up playing it about a month or so ago though
 
Personally, i think the main quest/story isn't anywhere near as good as it was in morrowind. its also like a third of the size and although the guilds are fun, they also are short and the side missions aren't quite enough to keep the game going once the main quest is over, more of a "do them while you are beating the game to drag the story out"

but it is still one of the best games out there, easily. if morrowind had oblivions engine, hands down
 
yeah, good ending and a good last fight in the imperial city but there just are not enough quests for the main storyline and when you finish the game all the oblivion gates close. Still brillaint game and I started again, changed my type of fighter and started with a blunt weapon ;)
 
i still have yet to finish all the quests what are you talking about? lol and "drag the storyline" you must not like the whole RPG game type because its all about the storyline! lol
 
I finished it too. The ending was extremely fun! Now i have been working on making my own mods. Right now i made a mod that makes an extra door in imperial city and when you go threw that door you get to fight tons of guys. Its pretty fun game.
 
I have it for 360, I used a walkthrough. It got too annoying, I was near the last 1/4 of the main quest, and I gave up. Not that great of a game and too much blah blah to do. I'll play DOA 4 and Quake 4 instead.

Yeah, I liked Morrowinds story a WHOLE lot more. With a Nerereverine and such. (Did I spell that right?)
