you guys may remember me asking for a good cpu cooler etc, well in the end i went for the zalman 9500 and oh my its awesome. before on my E6600 i was overclocked to 2.9ghz with 38-40c idle and 55c on load, now with my zalman fitted i am overclocked now to 3.1ghz with 22c idle and 45c on load :D

i had trouble with blue screens non booting etc, but realised i had to change memory timings and voltage to co-incide with the cpu's speed , im still moving up once i reeach 3.2 i will be happy, but i will still try go further
 
nice job dude. Why didn't you go for the 9700 though? You most likely would have gotten better temps. Granted, it is more expensive, but not more than 20 bucks.

i wanted the LED :D hehe
and im more than happy with my temps now i have so much more room to play with now regarding overclocking,
while on the subject i downloaded rivatuner and upped my gpu but its not affecting anything, im running 64 bit vista, how do i go about succesfully overclocking my gpu now?
