finding a cpu

New Member
I started building a pc about a year ago and had to stop due to lack of funds.
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on an amd athlon xp 3200+.
Cant find one in any of the online shops just wondered if anyone knew of a shop where they were still being sold?
Please help! :confused: :confused: :confused:

While easier to find, I fail to see how they could be better than a 3200+ @ 200fsb like the old hag in my sig. Bartons also have twice the L2 over the Semprons. :)

The truth is however, the 3200+ label is way to high for the given performance of the CPU, 2800+ had been more appropriate.

Socket A is way back in the past though as we all know.

i meant a 3200+ Athlon XP vs a 3200+ Sempron

semprons have 256K L2 Cache, and my fsb is at 200
 
i saw that people buy bartons 2500+ and then increase the fsb to 200 and get a 3200+, much cheaper
