I know that you can see where an email has come from by checking the headers of the email and finding the senders ip. But today I decided to check that and so I sent an email to my dad and then checked his email but my ip wasn't listed anywhere. Me and my dad share the same ip obviously...
So I sent one from his account (hotmail) to mine (gmail) and still didn't work. I know exactly what my ip address is and it wasn't shown anywhere.
Does anyone know what is going on? I mean why isn't it showing the ip address. I'm not doing anything to hide it. So why isn't my ip address listed in the message header when I send an email?
