Alright.
I was playing CSS, and someone wanted to go against me 1 on 1, so I decided to use my server, which is dedicated, and I gave him the IP to join. We were verbally arguing, and several hours later, he joins the server I was on, and starts telling me personal information, like my Name, City, State and birth date.

Some of the stuff was a give in, like my server has the website, which has the city name, and some quick google searching after that, can lead to forums like these, that I've been on, which have had my name and birth date and stuff.



I am not scared/intimidated at all, I just want to know what to do.

This is typically the reason I keep personal data limited on the Internet.

As far as this goes, I wouldn't be too concerned about anybody else knowing my birthdate and/or city. If the other person knew my address and phone number, then I might think different.
 
well...don't invite people your arguing with to your server :P

besides that, he was on your server, so you should be able to get his ip, right?
ban him from the server, ban him from your site, ban him from your forums.

if he asks to be let back in, tell him no. tell him if he's going to be such an a-hole that he tries to scare you by acting like he can track you down just because he's too arrogant to accept that others have different views on things, then he has no right to be on your server or site. tell him that in a few years when he (hopefully) learns to act more maturely he might be allowed back in again.

and, if he goes off on you with more threats etc, you can really make his gaming miserable by telling about what happened on other CS forums so other server owners can either ban him ahead of time or just watch out for him. if you get a lot of server owners to ban him so he has very few places to play then he might quit the game, which works out for everybody.

I don't play CS at all, but i can say that no internet game needs an arrogant player who resorts to threats just because somebody else doesn't see there point of view on something.

I run a Garry's Mod (http://garrysmod.com) server from time to time and have people join all the time that mess with other people's stuff.

Luckily I have a modification installed that allows me to easily ban them (which banning never seems work in Source games, they come right back). If banning doesn't work, then I just put them in jail using the jail function of the mod. Eventually they leave and don't come back.
 
your IP address will tell you what city you live in, if he had your name he could have looked up your myspace or facebook or whatever which typically has your date of birth on there as well.
