finger board?

i am having trouble with my cusor,my finger board looks as if i haave used it too many times,so the cusor does not do anything when my finger is on th board,can i cleaan it or what,any ideas out there please

You mean the touchpad on a laptop? Try going into control panel and change sensitivity.
