Fingerfox

I just got the HP Notebook DV2700tse with fingerprint reader. It's designed to work with Internet Explorer, but there's a few Firefox add-ons to make it compatible (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3871). Has anyone used this software? I tried it and it didn't work as smoothly as with IE. Is there a better version of Fingerfox?

I have DigitalPersona Personal 3.0
 
As far as I know, there isn't better version for Firefox.
Also, why did you put this on Security forum? It could go on general Software, or Internet Discussion or General computer chat.
