Fire wall question

when you install a fire wall such as comodo, do you turn off windows fire wall ? or just leave it?

I do believe once a 3rd party firewall is installed it automatically disables windows firewall to avoid conflicts.

Yes, the Windows firewall disabled, the 3rd party firewall is protecting the machine.

I don't think the windows Firewall is automatically disabled, but there's certainly no need for two running at once. If you're running Vista, it's got a pretty fair built-in firewall. Unlike XP, it blocks both incoming and outgoing connections and can be application specific. I'm actually using this program to control the firewall, which makes it run much like Zone Alarm and other similar firewalls...
