firefox 2 problems

i just returned to my pc to find that firefox has updated, however now it can't establish a connection to the server on any site i visit, but IE works fine which is what i am (regrettably) using now, does anyone else have this problem or are there some settings i need to change?
 
I am also using IE 7.0 and FF 2.0 there isn't any problem for me maybe you try to uninstall and reinstall it again and see does it work

i just read about a similar problem on yahoo answers so maybe it's a ff bug that needs to be rectified for some users.
 
Yeah I have nor problem with FF

PS: YSA I love your avatar, I'm a big fan of The Offspring since im like 7 ( which is ten years now :D)

Odd, i haven't faced any probs with FF2 since this day.
You should probably check under Tools-->Option-->Advance Tab-->Network tab , then settings and see if the settings are correct for your network
 
my grandpop installed office 2003 on his computer and somehow ff got uninstalled so I reninstalled it and he didn't have to import any bookmarks or anything cause they were already on it.
 
Make sure your firewall hasnt blocked FF because the program has changed. I know ZA does that and you have to tell it to allow it through again.
