Firefox bookmarks?

Ut oh! Here the profiles are found under the user name in the "C:\DocumentsandSettings\user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\p4o72ajk.default\bookmarkbackups\" sub directory there and in htlm format. The one or more there will have a date stamp on them.
You'll probably have to use the import option found in the "file" dropdown menu to import from IE if those aren't found in either location. The current profile is seen in the "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\" folder there as a single htlm file. Of course the user name here is also the adminstrator.

Next time when you need to backup your bookmarks go to organize bookmarks and click File - Export it will export a file called bookmarks.html when you want to take it back on any other machine just go to organize bookmarks and click File Import and select the previous file.

The profile changes every time you reinstall firefox. You should have copied the profile from the application data directory, and then you can paste the contents of that profile into the new profile.

Great! I just downloaded and saved three copies in my Firefox folders along with a few other items! The previous backup made here is in the sub folder under the user name here. The one thing I do often to backup links for 2.0 is to first add them into favorites on IE 7 and then backup those to an outside folder separate from any created by Windows.
Once reloaded in IE I can use the import from IE option to keep 2.0 updated. You can save favorites on a floppy if needed and simply recopy to the "DocumentsandSettings\user name\favorites\" folder if your account is the administrator. With multiple accounts setup then do as advised earlier and look in the "all users\favorites".
