I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit) and turned on my PC this morning to find Firefox wasn't opening, I then tried my other browsers and nothing either.. They simply don't open at all. Here are the things i've tried along with many reboots:
Avast full system scan
AVG full system scan
Uninstalling and reinstalling the programs
Malwarebytes (did not run in safe mode however)
SUPERAntiSpyware
I've also checked and none of the programs are running in the task manager.
All of my other programs still open just fine, but anything to do with browsing/email doesn't open at all.. so i'm assuming this could be Malware? If not, then it must be something which all of these programs need to function. Could a certain missing .dll file be causing this? Something missing from Appdata? What else could I check?
I uninstalled/reinstalled Java, hasn't changed anything.
Would really appreciate a fix which doesn't involve reinstalling Windows, I have so many important programs installed for work and need it all at the moment. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you
