Firefox Keeps Shutting Down On me!

Why, after years of good use... now I've reformatted my system and Firefox keeps saying it has encountered a problem and needs to close?

I don't get this. It makes no sense. Anyone know anything I don't?

Please answer the following questions:

-what operating system are you using?
-how did you format the hard disk drive?
-does your operating system has any service packs installed?
-what version of the Mozilla Firefox are you using and how did you install it?(By the install I mean did you use the STANDARD or CUSTOM installation)

That question should be covered in the OS version :)
I'm pretty sure from other threads he's using Windows XP SP3.
 
I would imagine that reinstalling Firefox will solve the problem if you're not having any problem with any other programs.
 
First and the most simple thing you can do is what PohTayToez said.Try to reinstall Mozilla Firefox and see if that fixes it.If not,report back...
