Firefox question (need to see a web page that's gone)

A thread I was reading on another forum got deleted, Firefox does not offer me to click back and go back to the page I was reading, even tho I'm in the same tab and I suspect that the page might still be kept in some cache somewhere.

Does anyone know how I might get a hold of this? I REALLY REALLY need it.

You could give your browser history a try, but i think if the thread has been deleted then it is probably gone.
