Does Firefox usually starts to load slow over time? From my experience it does. I'm not talking about how web pages load. I'm talking about opening and closing the program. I want to see what experience you people had with it. Thanks.

not for me, but i run ccleaner a lot. it's mainly about keeping your entire system clean. so a defrag wiuld help as well.

also, try keeping add-ons to a minimum. i just run ad block plus and video download helper, no slowdowns over time.

also clear the cahce once in a while, jsut hit ctrl+shift+del

On the build below i dont have any problems but on my old pc it's kind of slow.... I think i do have a lot of add-ons on it though. Also i do run CCleaner too. Did you change any options on the CCleaner or you left it as default? Also what kind of defrag are you using?

If you use a lot of addons it will slow it down some just like any other program. The more a program has to do the slower it generally goes.

Plus, I always try to make sure I Clear EVERYTHING in History at the end of the day and not let that stuff build up.

I personally like FF the best but I also use Safari now and then too. Kind of a little change in my routine once in awhile.

Mine became very slow at one point it took ages literally ages, I made the cache smaller, I think I had it at 2 gigs!! That helped I think, also getting rid of useless add-ons.

It's much better now.

with any browser you can set the opening page/home page to blank. and it should load the program a little faster instead of trying to download the page at the same time.
