firefox slow to start up with win 7 pro

Any ideas?
its a quad core. 4 gig and ya double click it then takes 30sec to start.
all the other proggys start fine. defrag and cleaned up.
still same thing. programs like thunderbird and everything else starts fine.

the 2nd, 3rd and all the others is same results.

Disable/uninstall add-ons that you are not using. It will definitely improve your Firefox performance.

You could also try re-installing a the latest verison of firefox.

that did it. i startedd checking some of these addons i had. i had some addons installed for hp printer. i was running some software from hp and forgot to uninstall.

Which firefox version you are using. try to start trouble shooting from one by one latest version of firefox.

its fixed. works fine. its the latest edition.
i suspect some programs or what ever was just hogging resources.
i cleaned it up (the computer). uninstalled programs i suspect may have
been a factor.
