Firefox vs. IE --- is the zoom different?

Whenever I zoom in while surfing the net (Ctrl. + mouse wheel) so that the text gets larger, there is a difference in how Firefox and IE respond to this. I like the way Firefox does it, and I was wondering if I can change something in IE so that it will do it the way Firefox does. Here is what I mean.

Firefox makes the text bigger and "word wraps" everything, so that I don't have to scroll left and right to read everything. IE makes the text and all images bigger, but I have to keep scrolling left and right to view the whole page.

Compare the following:

Firefox:

Then zoom:

And now the way IE does it:

And then zoom:

Some site don't play nice with firefox, however few, it is still is a minor inconvenience I feel for a far superior internet browser.

I don't think so. Why would you want to use IE anyway?

LOL :D
Yeah, I use Firefox 99% of the time. However, I must say that I like the full-screen view in IE better because I gets rid of EVERY toolbar and you only see the actual webpage on your monitor. Then, by moving the mouse to the top of the screen, the main toolbars for IE appear so that you can change tabs, enter a new address etc. It's convenient.

That aspect doesn't make it worth switching to IE, but sometimes, I like not having any toolbars. I use the full-screen view often.

But anyway, back to my main question. I don't know if I can change IE to "word-wrap" text when I zoom in. Since I have 20" wide-screen monitor, I have to zoom in and out a lot on the internet to adjust to how different sites have their text and image laid out.

You can right click and deselect all of the tool bars... then it's full screen if you're using one tab.

Yeah, sort of.....
The effect is almost the same, except that if you want to type in a url, then you first have to exit full-screen mode, then right-click and select the navigation toolbar etc... Like I said, it is a minor difference, but IE is still more convenient as far as that feature goes. Still not worth the switch to IE, though.
