has anyone else had problems with Mozilla since they installed a Mozilla update???


firefox takes forever to load after start up, i stopped all unnecessary startup programs and still takes forever, then when you close or exit out of firefox and try to open up a new window it will not open at all
i have to go open task manager and delete the firefox process in order to get it to start again and its kinda getting old

any thoughts

Firefox is a good web browser ,I used it so many times,this is really a good,and now in everywhere people used it,designing of firefox is nice,it's use really nice.

No issues for me, on either Mac or PC. Granted it takes longer to startup now then it used to a while back, I think they are just adding more features which increases the start up time

What size is your cache?
I increased mine in the past thing it would speed up performance

However I think it just made it take ages to load.

So set it back to the default, tools - options - advance - network.
Mine is now 50meg, still not a fast loader though. (but OK)

Lets us no what yours is set to and if lowering helps!

If you have google toolbar or other add ons, try removing it. In my case, it was the google desktop that slowed down firefox.

I've had a number of crashes with video streaming lately.
A good example is watching the BP oil spill feed: http://www.bp.com/liveassets/bp_int...local_assets/bp_homepage/html/rov_stream.html

Often I'll have that running, and when I open another window or tab, FF v3.6.3 will crash to the desktop and offer to send a bug report. There's supposedly a fix on the way in v3.6.4.
