Firefox has problems streaming certain video formats, or sometimes running plugins and stuff. If you don't have it already, install the IETab extension in Firefox.
Use the tab to switch to IE instantly. it's not going to fix ur FF streaming problems, but it will make it easier than finding IE and entering in the URL again and all that.
