Firewire - don't know which cable to use

I just got a portable hard drive and it has a firewire port (firewire 400/800 I think) I want to use.

My computer has this on the side

And this is my hard drive.

what kind of cable do I need to connect them?

i cant see the picture of your hardrive as ima at work and the have blocked the image (yay filtering)
the port on yur computer is a firewire as it looks the same and says 1394
assuming the one on the hd looks simalar you would need on eof the leads here

as i cant see the hd im not sure if its a 6 pin or a 9 pin

The port on your computer is a 4-pin Firewire, as opposed to the more recognizable 6-pin Firewire (the one that looks like a really skinny, tall house). As for the ports on your hard drive, the port on the right is a 5-pin mini USB, and I can't tell what the port on the left is. Do you have a Western Digital part number?
