Firewire port

I want to start making more of my firewire port on my laptop. So, i was wondering are there any firewire laptop mice ?

the only use ive found for firewire so far is ipods, other than that, theres not alot to use with it

I have been looking around and i have to agree with you.

...although my Ipod doesn't even use firewire.

Yeah, USB is much more standard that Firewire. I don't know if there's a bus limitation of some sort which is why you don't see peripherals such as mice for firewire... However, if you're doing video editing, fireware is the only way to go!

FireWire is useful for when dealing with video camera and the transfer of data thereof.

External HD's support firewire more often than not. My family owns five (laptop people, external=simpler when the inside of the case is foreign.)
