Ok, I'm going to be building my first pc. I know how to completely assemble it, but I am not to sure about how to handle the first boot up to install windows. All I have is my windows xp install disc. Will I be able to just put it into my disc drive (dvd burner) and boot it from that??(i don't have a floppy drive). Alright, any help or links would be awesome :D thx

Go into the BIOS and make sure that the DVD Burner is set to boot first, followed by the Hard Drive. Then put the CD in, restart, and you should get a message asking you to press a key to continue, once you press a key the windows installation starts.
