First build. Advice/input?

Howdy, I've been working with a buddy of mine for a while on a parts list for my first build. I basically know the basics, how to put it all together and whatnot, so naturally more input is always helpful. For instance, if a part I picked is unnecessary, or I could get an upgrade for cheap.

As far as price goes, I would like to save any money I can, but performance is probably more important.

I've never built a computer before, and basically want to build a good computer that won't have any problems running games on high settings.

Here's my list so far, completely open to change.

Motherboard
CPU
Memory
Hard Drive
Power Supply
Video Card
Disc Drive
Case
CPU Cooling

I was also thinking about getting a different case, any recommendations?

I'm totally open to comments, and thanks in advance for any input you can offer :)

Hello,

Well that looks good, just a few things...

For your disc drive, why are you getting a DVD Rom.... i would recommend a DVD burner.

Also, your CPU cooling link, is the same as your DVD rom link...

Just one question, what is your budget? Depending on your budget, you "could" change a few things....

Otherwise it looks good...

My budget is an interesting situation. I'm 16, and would basically be getting a job to pay for the computer, so there's no strict budget, but the sooner I can pay for my computer, the sooner I can start putting money into other things.

As for the drive, I kinda just clicked on one, how's this one?
