Will this build work well for gaming? Is a 750W PSU or an 850W PSU better for this build?

That would veryy well. check the psu guide in the ps dept. Looks like 700w min(allow extra)for when you add a second 6870 later on.

At 5 min 15 seconds in this video the guy says that this motherboard does not have an lcd post. What is an lcd post used for? Does it affect using lcd or led displays? I'm new at this.

I'm not up too much on vc's. Couldn't go wrong with a 6950 or 6870 tho, for that matter. I think they are very close in performance.

It doesn't have anything to do with the screen or monitor. PC's do a power on self test when your power them on.POST. Some motherboards have an led indicator on them for that. Most have a bell or speaker. Warnings or errors in the system will prompt beep codes.
