First build (budget build)

Antec 300 case*
PC Power & Cooling 600watt Silencer mk3 PSU*
2 APEVIA 120mm green led fans*
ASUS M5A97 motherboard*
AMD FX 4100 CPU*
LG MODISC drive*
Corsair Vengence 8gb 1600mhz ram*


EVGA 550ti 2gb video card
Caviar 500gb harddrive
Windows 7 64bit OS

So for a budget build do you think this will handle alot of games?

For the price of the 2GB 550ti, get a 1GB 6870. Would be way faster than a 550ti.

Look at the coolermaster 912 for a better case than the 300.
 
300 is a dated case with horrible cable management. Plus 1 to the 912. Also check out Rosewill's cases. I'm happy with mine. 6870 is also a lot quicker than a 550 TI as Clapton mentioned.
 
If you're willing to switch to an AMD GPU, you could switch to something like a Radeon HD 6870. In my opinion, it's the more powerful card of the two.
