Will these parts fit together? Yes, I did post this before but I'm asking one more time because I'm buying it today I am firm on the processor but all else is open to suggestions.

Processor- AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 2.4GHz

Operating system- Microsoft Windows XP Home

Power supply- Rosewill RP550

case- Rosewill TU-155

memory- CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 184-Pin DDR

motherboard- DFI LANPARTY

Hard dirve- 120GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache

Drive- SONY Black 16X DVD-ROM

Graphics-EVGA GeForce 7600 GT / 256MB GDDR3(already have)

case fans- MASSCOOL

Newegg says "that product has been deactivated" for the link for the procecssor.

anyway, I agree with b3atofang3l, I strongly suggest that you get a C2D instead.

I was aiming for $700not including shipping etc. I guess I could try intel but i've only had problems with them. With the overwhelming support I think it's time for a second chance. What is so much better about dual core? Why Intel dual core? Why is C2D so much better than petuim D? I'm very confused with all this

Ok hows this? why do some AMD motherboards say SLI ready?but I cant find any 775 boards that say that?
