First Build Help

This weekend I built my first cpu and everything was going great. First off, here are the specs:
Gigabyte 770 motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edititon 3.2GHz
Radeon HD 4890 1GB GPU
Mushkin 4GB RAM
Seagate 1TB HD
750 Watt psu
Additional CPU Cooler
So anyway I first installed windows 7 RC, which would work for a little while (somewhere from 15min-1hour) and then everything just froze up instantly, and nothing was responsive, the screen didnt change, and the only way i could make it stop was to reset the comp. First I though it might just b the RC, so i next installed a copy of windows vista. Same problems exactly. This morning I wake up and try it again, and the first time it just reset completely and went to motherboard screen and booted back up. Next time it booted up it just froze in black screen. I reset it once more and it powered up, and i immediately shut it down via windows, but it tried to install updates before it shut off. It got about half way done before it froze like it had before and has been like that now for maybe 5 minutes still frozen. So far I have checked my temperatures with speedfan and everything looks good, running somewhere about 26C. I also checked my CPU voltage, which sits about .96 but will sometimes jump up to around 1.2 or 1.3 but go right back down. This is when it is in light use, just on the internet or using word, no hardcore graphics/gaming. Anyone know what might be the problem? I am baffled ... Thanks for the help in advance!

I have installed the motherboard and graphics card drivers, and they seem to be working fine. I think that it is a hardware problem... Should the voltages be that low?

Do a memory test and see if you get any errors. Make sure the recommend voltages for your ram is set right. A lot of times you will have to set the voltages and timings on new ram or it will be unstable.
