I’m building my first computer so I’m not sure if my setup is good or not. Any advice is appreciated.

Case (NZXT Lexa-S Gaming Case - Black w/ Blue Light)
Processor (Intel® Core™ i5-2500K Processor (4x 3.30GHz/6MB L3 Cache))
Processor Cooling (Fan and Heatsink)
Memory (4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module)
Video Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 - 1GB - Single Card)
Motherboard (ASUS P8P67 LE)
Power Supply (700W)
Hard Drive ( 2 TB HARD DRIVE - 64M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s - Single Drive)
Optical Drive (24X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black)
Network Card (Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100))
OS (Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - 64-Bit)

from experience dont bother with the 6gb/s HDD, mechanical drives barely scratch 3gb/s, so aim for that.

another option is to go for 2 HDDs and RAID them for better speeds.

if you want that kind of crazy performance from your HDD you'll have to go solid state.

rest looks nice. i picked the deluxe edition mobo and love it, slick, lots of features and runs cooler than some others in the same field.

Looks a good build,What exact power supply are you using?

Whats your budget? :)

i forgot to mention that i'm not personally building it. I'm ordering it through ibuypower's website.

the power supply is the 700w standard thats on their site and i'm looking to spend about $1,000

The power supply that ibuypower is going to use, won't be a good quality unit. And it's one of-or the, most importamt component because failure could take out other components.

Assembling it yourself, How to Build a Computer - Step by Step (With Photos) , means you can spend the money where you want/it's needed, instead of trying to save hear and there for profits.

A quick comparisome difference in the $1,000 range would be, a top quality power supply, a bigger video card, and a solid state boot drive if you want one.
