Alright so I'm deciding to move up from my 4yr old PC. My brother gave it to me, so I really don't know much on making a PC. I had a quick look at parts, and here's what I've come up with. Please review and give me some pointers! :)

Build:
Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 940 Quad-Core Black Edition
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-AMD940-1(ME).aspx
MBoard: Asus M4A79 Deluxe Motherboard/790FX chip set.

Video Card: SAPPHIRE ATI HD 4870 1GB DDR5
http://www.b-com.ca/product.php?productid=223874&page=2

Power Supply: PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750W Quad Power Supply, Crossfire Edition
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX18785(ME).aspx

HardDrive:Western Digital 500GB Caviar Black 7200rpm SATA II w/ 32MB Cache
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX22446(ME).aspx

DVD/CD Drive: Asus DRW-2014L1T 20x DVD+/-RW Drive w/ LightScribe
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX19944(ME).aspx

Case: ANTEC Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX14869(ME).aspx

Memory: Mushkin XP2-8000 Xtreme Performance Redline DDR2 SDRAM, 4GB Dual Pack
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX21196(ME).aspx

-My only concern with the Mushkin, is the processor under requirements says PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066)..where as the Mushkin are PC2-8000 (DDR2-1066)
Will this still be compatible considering its a DDR2-1066?
Otherwise I will go with the kingston make:

Kingston HyperX 4GB PC2-8500 CL7 Dual Channel DDR2 Kit

you can save a bunch of money by going newegg as i think memory express is in the us right? that mobo and cpu on newegg together only got 400 i think. i didnt look at all the links but the cpu, mobo, and gpu are muuuuuch cheaper at newegg. nice build though, might want to consider an aftermarket heatsink if your gonna oc

Thanks a bunch, but I do live in Canada, Alberta to be exact. Would newegg be cheap on shipping for me? or a bit more? Cause if it is cheap to ship..then I would consider newegg.

memory express is in canada.

newegg.ca? Its where I do my shopping anyway. That aside, build looks good to me, similar to what I'm gunning for as soon as the appropriate funds fall in my lap.

Aright, so I've decided to change a few parts and looked into a CPU Fan.
I'm going to switch the Memory to the Kingston's.
I'm also changing the power supply to: Silverstone Olympia OP1000-Evolution 1000W Power Supply

And for the CPU Fan, I wasn't completely sure..I was looking at:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler for AMD Socket AM2+, AM2, 939, 754
Anyone know if these are good? and is it compatible with the Phenom920/mobo?

And thanks, I'll check newegg/tigerdirect out.

You'll love the Arctic Cooling 64 Pro-It works great on my system -overclocked right now at 3.1 Ghz-very quiet and have never had a heat issue.
