Go with a AM3+ board on the 900 series chipset. It will run SLI naively. The old nvidia chipset boards were hit or miss from what I hear.

For the AM3+ you will need at least a Phenom II processor, so look for one of those.

DDR3-1600 is just as cheap, and is faster. Get 1600.

Also Edited the OP - Added ddr 1600 4gb of ram, thanks

Yes. All new motherboards will have an ethernet connection on them. If you need a dial up RJ11 jack, you will need to buy one to get it to work.

That processor and Motherboard are fine. They will work good together.

thanks a lot man, much appreciated for your help

Just to let you know, you're not going to be able to play Battlefield 3 or Crysis with this. You might be able to play COD, but I'm not too sure.

he can easily play any game at all, at 1080p too, he just can't max those, but he should easily get medium to high settings on newer games at 1080p, and high to max on other stuff

Big question for me though, is what cooling system will I need for my processor? Id rather be safe then sorry, so if someone could link some fans to install, Id greatly appreciate it

unless you plan to overclock there is no need for a new cooler, if you do want to the i'd grab a cooler master hyper 212 plus, also for what you're putting in it i'd spend a few bucks to get a nicer looking case that has good cable management so the wiring runs behind the motherboard tray instead of them all hanging around in there which blocks airflow, a case like the cooler master haf 912, also i think there is a lian li for not too much more.

Yeah Ive just about reached my budget. Seems like theres always something more you can upgrade, maybe in the future.

What about a fan or cooling device for the processor? or is that already included in here.

And no Im not overclocking

i started looking at your list and found some places to save some, and the ram you had listed wasn't compatible, the ddr2 800, the mobo is ddr3 and this 1600 is a lot faster and is cheaper before the combo discount

the burner has free shipping so is actually less. and do you have an operating system disc, cause those are 100 and if you want windows you sort of have to get one
