I had a crappy eMachine for 4 years now and it's time for a new computer. I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I do burn media, photo/video editing (nothing major), internet, and other typical school stuff. The newest game I have right now is Supreme Commander, but play it at low settings and don't really care about the high resolution and the other stuff about this game. Since I only play a little bit of that game, I would mostly play Guild Wars a lot more.

I don't plan to OC anything because I don't know anything about it right now. This is what I found. Feel free to give me any suggestions/feedbacks.

if you aren't running SLI then you could probably save a few bucks by going with a non SLI board. Gigabyte DS3 would be my suggestion its $99.

I'll take that into consideration.

The motherboard comes with built in sound. There's no need for an additional sound card.
I thought the onboard sucks, but wasn't sure. I could always buy a new card if I don't like it I guess.

Amazingly close to what I have...U wont be sorry Just remember to D/L all the drivers:P
Wow, it is close. Glad to here that it'll be good.:)

I plan to upgrade my to that, but not right now since I already have a good card for now. Although thanks for the suggestion and I'll keep that one in my wish list for future reference.

why not spend an extra $280 and get a 8800gts. its probably one of the best gaming card atm. and you can easily upgrade to vistal and dx10 in the future.

i would get a better psu;) 450 watt is a bi low for dual core

wattage doesn't really matter much its the amount on the 12v rails i have a 450w and it will run my system just fine

It's because I'm not a hardcore gamer and don't play games that has high end graphics beside Supreme Commander, which I play very little, that needs a high end card. Although my next card might be 8800 instead of the 7900, but for now. I'll stick with my current 7600GT.

Besides the video card and PSU, is everything else ok? I might go with the Gigabyte DS3 instead since I have no need for a SLI, so I edited that part.
