First Build. Please Critique

Very, Very nice bravo, is this you first build? you picked out everything wonderfully, yes everything will work together (I think ima steal your design for myself :D).

as for the amd to intel switch i'm not really interested but i will look into it

EDIT:

i looked into it and everyone says vista is kind of a hog so i would rather stay with the same processor and i will do some gaming and extreme internet use on this.

I am not going to say anything about changing parts. It's your first pc so live with it good. I would say that it is pretty good. For first pc, thats not to bad. :D

wow! thanks for the processor help StrangleHold i will definitely upgrade to the 3.1 processor but i don't really know if the losing of 1mb of L2 cache will greatly affect me.
as for the psu i would rather not upgrade because I am on a budget and I am on the tip of the iceberg as it is
EDIT:
as for the processor switch to INTEL like i just now said I can't really go up any higher on my budget

Looks good to me. I would go for it it is your first build and all.Thats the best way to learn is to build and experiment yourself.

Cache in general saves program information or stuff of that sort so when you run the program it loads up faster next time, hope that was some help:D
