My dad bought a Dell Dim 4700 about 3-4 years ago and now im starting to upgrade it.

I started with buying and installing a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT and a 470W power supply and another 3GB of RAM, and another 250GB hard drive.

Now i would like to upgrade the processor to a Intel Core 2 Quad 9500 which means i need a new mobo. and the mobo needs to support a PCI-e to be compatible with the vid card.

I need a MicroATX or an ATX would like to support at least 8GB of RAM

Dont want to spend more than $130 for the mobo.

Im saving up so my budget is very flexible!

You would probably be better of going with a AMD motherboard and CPU if you won't to keep the price low as the Phenom II's are just as good as the core 2 duo's.

IBEPCWIZ thx the first mobo will work just fine for what im looking for!! my RAM is DDR2 800 i believe and i dont think ill have those long!!

You may want to listen to advice given earlier in the thread, upgrading to another socket 775 CPU is like upgrading the wheels on a 1980 corolla, sure its got new wheels but there really isnt much support out there. Socket 775 is dying, there wont be any new cpu's coming out, you would be better off going with an AM2+ or AM3 motherboard and a Phenom II X4.

Secondly...What kind of power supply are you using? A 470W quality unit, sure it would probably run a graphics card. An off brand chinese power supply, probably not.
