First computer build...

I'm builing my first computer in a week or so, whenever my motheroboard and ram arrive from newegg. Does this sound like a good order to assemble the computer? If not what do you suggest?

1. Put the power supply in the case
2. Put the processor and ram onto the motherboard
3. Put the motherboard (with the cpu and ram already mounted) into the case
4. Put hard drive and disc drive in
5. Connect all cables (power cables, fans, switches, leds, monitor, mouse, keyboard etc...)
6. Boot up and install XP

That's how I did mine :). If you have a graphics card, that would be step 3.5 or 4.5, depending on how much room you have to work with in your case. Just remember to install your processor cooler on step 2 :).

there is not an incorrect way to put the components into the case, its whichever makes it easier for you. That order you have got seems fine to me.
