Well it's my first time building a computer and i've done a ton of research, but hey it's always smart to ask before you purchase ;) . Anyways, here are the components i've chosen. Are they all compatible...are they good choices? Should I change anything? I have a budget of around 900-1000 btw. Any input is greatly appreciated!

just because he's getting a crossfire board doesnt mean he should go for Ati. the 8800gt is a better card than the 3870 but i recommend you getting a HD4870 they are the new bang for buck card and u will get much more performance than an 8800gt, for you motherboard i recommend atleast an x38 chipset board.

Haha but yeah, unfortunately I don't have enough money to purchase the HD4870. Thing is, i dont need the best graphics card...i can settle for the 8800GT. I've decided to get the E8400 CPU instead of the E7200 and a Pioneer DVR-215 dvd writer instead of the samsung.

It's already over $1100, *cries*.
