Yeah, you could get a better system by configuring itself. Those combo deals are often not very balanced. At this budget I would probably go with a non-overclockable i5, H87, 8GB quality RAM, 1TB Seagate/WD, CX500M/600M and NZXT Source 210 - and then get the best GPU available. No point in getting an overclockable CPU without a good cooler on Haswell, as they burn up when overclocked. I would also spend ~$20 on a good silent cooler, since the stock one is both loud and just good enough on stock settings.

How about an OS? That often costs ~$85
