First PC biuld, need help with hard drive

hello everyone , im new here, ive recenlty purchased a Dell optiplex GX240 from a friend for a whoping $20:), it has a 20 gig hard drive in it right now, i was thinking of buying another one but i wanted to know that if i bought another hardrive and added it to the machine, if it will work along side of my other one, so that i can access it from my desktop and put games and what not onto it. please help me

Yeah, if you buy another HDD and put it in as a slave driver (providing the other is set to master) you'll be able to keep the other one, as it is...

You'll just have two hard drives in 'My Computer' :)
