Hello all...
This is my first post here on computerforum.com and definitely not my last.
For my first post, I was just curious what everyone thinks of these new Dell XPS 600 machines (click here if you haven't heard about them). They come with dual nVidia 7800 GTXs in SLI and can support dual-core P4 3.2GHz processors (w/HT and 800MHz FSB), up to 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2-4 DIMMs), dual hard drives, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS and a host of other impressive stuff. Can't find information on heatsinks or powersupply anywhere, but I'm sure they aren't crap.
For a cookie-cutter, mass-produced PC the above configuration is pretty impressive. It looks like the bigger manufacturers are taking a gander at the high-end computing/gaming world and giving it the nod... Only, they're charging $3009 to start on these things.
I just wanted to know what you all thought about them.
Thanks a bunch and I look forward to your responses
