first time boot is restarting on me

alright. when i boot my comp up it gets to the part where you can press del and get into bios. if i dont press anything it restarts itself and does it all over again. any ideas y?
 
Do you have drives attached to the Board? If you do, is there an operating system on them? You mentioned this is the very first time you're booting it up? Try going into BIOS and Load Optimal Settings, then Save and Exit and see if it works.
 
Does it say anything before it restarts? Check all your connections and make sure that your hard drive is first in the boot order and that you have a usable operating system installation on your hard drive.
 
yeah i have an os in one of the hard drives and is set to the first boot. sometimes it comes up with the options to start it in safe mode or last time it work screen but still then it reboots. giving me the $hit$!!! lol
 
What you could try is repairing the os is this a new motherboard/setup your using this hard drive on?
