First time budget build

I'm looking to build a new gaming rig for around $700 (give or take $50), but I've never built one before and have absolutely no idea where to start. So, whats the best value setup can I get for the price?

Well it would be helpful to tell us the parts you don't need to purchase. For instance, do you have computer case from an older system that you can use? Keyboard? Mouse? Monitor?

Give us the kind of games you want to play.

In addition to above.
[strike]Are you located in the US?[/strike]
Do you already have an operating system or will you need one?
Edit: Just read location

I have the OS covered. Ill need a new case, but theres no need for new keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. As for games, I want to be able to play the games out now at the highest possible settings, MW2, Bad Company 2, etc. No need for Crysis on high type stuff, but I dont want to have to upgrade in 6 months either.

Second build should be prefect.

What's wrong with the graphics card? Curious because that is the build I will be ordering soon.

Alright I picked from both of their builds and reduced your build to what you need :)
I would have removed the HD too, but you need something newer then you have. Also the guy sent you a horrible HD(for the price). I sent you one thats the same drive only 750gig and it has a 32meg cache instead of 16.
Plus I have the same drive, its great.
