Hey all, I'm looking to build my very first computer. Mainly to perform tasks such as as gaming, lots of movies/music, possibly music recording. Literally starting from scratch so OS, monitor, keyboard, will be needed to take into account. for gaming the stuff i imagine to be playing will be various CS's, TF2, Portal, Starcraft, battlefield, LFD2..etc. and LANs.
I'm not totally knowledgeable with what to get but i've been researching around, all i know for sure is i want a big HD because that's always been my biggest problem, as well as a nice case with lots of room for upgrades down the road, and cool lookin' one too other than that anything that's good and in my budget should do.
Budget...
It's not for sure yet all but probably 600-800 for everything. 600 i can do for sure.
Like i said, big HD, good enough parts to perform the tasks and games i want, nice big case, probably like a master cooler haf 922. I have some really experienced and knowledgeable friends who i'll be asking as well and who will help me actually get it together and running later on but i'd figured i'd ask the wonderful people of the internet as well. Thanks!
