First Time Build - Looking for Advice

I merged your threads as to not create further confusion.

I would not touch that combo deal, it has a rubbish power supply included with it, although the cpu/mobo/memory are decent.

For a cheap gaming CPU, i'd recommend an athlon II X4 over an i3 530.

First of all, sorry for the multiple thread things, I kept thinking my other ones had gone down far.

Second of all, that Nvidea edeals newsletter came out, and I came up with this, I like it, and I was wondering what you guys thought. I don't want to change much around, because I don't want to get confused again, but if I could get it cheaper somehow that would be good.

Hay guys im new and i couldnt find the new tread buttonsoo anyway i hav a similar my dad is not really a computer guy and i know little about it but im intrested in sc2 and d3 swell and i was wondering if there was a way to get a good gaming computer in the 800 range (my dad has the money so i try keeping the first digit low mabye he wont notice ) i was thinking a amd phenom II X6 and a Radeon HD 58xx series video card and a case with some beast looks so i can boast at school im open minded to building it myself btw idk if my dad thinks i can do it but ive always been intrested whats inside of the platic shell of a computer (i have a 2gb stick in my old xp i plan on youesing also and mabye see what other stuff i hav in this junk can i can salvage
