First Time Builder Help

Ok here's the deal, well I'm heading off to college and you always need that new comptuer to take with you right? So instead of getting that POS that my parents were gonig to buy me I decided to make my own and deciding what I wanted to place in my computer. This is more or less a budget gaming PC.

Case: Antec P160W
Processor: Core 2 Duo E6600
Ram: OCZ PC-6400 (2x512MB) Platnium Edittion
Motherboard: Asus P5B
Graphics Card: x850 xt Platinum
Sound Card: Creative Audigy 4
Hard Drive: Western Digital 200MB Caviar SE

Now a few question I have is what types of optical drives should I install?? And also should I downgrade my Core 2 Duo to a E6400 and upgrade my RAM to 2GB?? And is having a good sound card that big of a deal if you are just using 2 regular speakers? Also what type of PSU do you guys reccommend?? Any help is appreciated.

Optical drives - I'd one DVD-Burner, or a DVD-ROM/CD-RW if you don't ever plan to burn DVDs. As for RAM, 1G is fine for most people. I bumped it up to 2G so I could get rid of the swap file, but it's far from needed. Sound cards can make a difference, but that's more personal preference. I'm fine with my current onboard sound. And PSU, most any with a combine total of around 30A on the 12v rails.
